Allianz Global Assistance Türkiye, which has provided automotive, roadside, home, health and travel assistance under the Allianz Group since 1997, chose to draw on the experience of the D-CAT Technologies business intelligence team to implement its SAP BusinessObjects solutions.
Challenge
Automate reporting tasks that were carried out manually. Preparing one report by hand took 2 days and left room for human error along the way.
What we did
The first stage of the project was completed in just 10 days.
- The data sources behind the manually built reports were examined, and the database was extended so the data could be pulled from the system automatically.
- The formulas used in the reports were reviewed and added to the database development as well.
- Reports were developed with SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence.
- Bülent Özgül, D-CAT's Deputy General Manager for Analytics Products and Services, gave Dashboard training to a team of 10 at the company.
Result
- The report that took 2 days to prepare manually is now available from SAP BusinessObjects every day, whenever it is needed.
- The report is sent automatically by email to the relevant distribution lists.
- Reports deliver results in far less time.
- Staff time was freed up, and the human errors that could creep in during preparation were eliminated.
