Alternatif Bank, which has served corporate, commercial and retail banking customers since 1991, chose to draw on the experience of the D-CAT Technologies business intelligence team to implement its SAP BusinessObjects solutions.
Challenge
Plan all of the bank's analytics needs and build a central platform that end users can access and use with ease.
What we did
The project began with end-user workshops to identify analytics needs and existing pain points. After the analysis, development and testing were completed and a flexible platform was designed. Including end-user training, the project was finished in about 80 days.
At the CIO Awards 2016, organized by CIO Magazine, 28 technology leaders were recognized. Alternatif Bank and MOPAŞ, both of which chose D-CAT Technologies as their business intelligence partner, were among the winners.
Result
- Employees now depend far less on IT for their analytics needs.
- The SAP BusinessObjects portal became the shared analytics platform for all systems.
- Users reach data from every application used in the company through a single interface.
- Security settings now control who can access which data.
