Careers: building the team for the AI era

Small, strong teams with clear roles, where domain knowledge and AI-agent software development build products together. This page is not a job ad; it is a point of view. If you recognize yourself in it, write to us.

MANIFESTO

Software development has been redefined

The tools have changed; what makes the difference is still the judgment and domain knowledge of the people using them.

20 years ago, enterprise data projects meant large teams, long timelines and heavy processes.

AI-native development has broken that equation. With rapid prototyping tools, workflows built with AI agents and the latest large language models, a small team can now deliver work that once took large teams.

But tools alone are not enough. Without domain knowledge, forecasts go wrong. Without an agent, a specification (spec) on its own gets nothing done. An analyst who doesn't ask good questions won't get good answers.

D-CAT Technologies is building that balance: 20 years of domain expertise + the power of developing with AI agents + small teams with clear roles. We are not a classic software company, and we are no longer just a consultancy. We are building a new model that grows out of both.

FORMULA

How we deliver

This formula is not a slogan; it is how we work every day.

Two roles, the right tools

Agentic Software Architect · Ultra Domain Analyst + rapid prototyping tools

An Agentic Software Architect, working with an Ultra Domain Analyst who knows the business and the data, runs several projects in parallel using rapid prototyping tools of their own choosing.

Our goal is to shorten the delivery cycle without compromising on enterprise quality or security. Three principles underpin this model:

  • Small team: a few people working in defined roles.
  • Clear ownership: everyone knows what they are producing.
  • Fast iteration: a new release every week, sometimes every day.
ROLES

The profiles we look for

Each role has a clear definition and place; these are not job openings but the profiles that work in this structure.

Domain Expert

Deep domain knowledge. An expert who knows a field such as healthcare, retail, finance, data visualization or marketing from the inside. When an agent is being built, they tell the team how it should work, and they are often its future user. They don't do analysis or write software; they bring domain knowledge into the product.

Who we're looking for: an expert who has lived their industry for years, knows its problems from the inside and enjoys explaining them.

Analyst

Writes the spec; the team's translator. Takes knowledge from the Domain Expert and translates it into agent and software logic. Someone who can analyze work they don't know by asking questions; the new role that tells the agent what to do. They stand at the start of every project.

Who we're looking for: curious, analytical, asks questions, listens well, writes clearly and learns fast.

Domain Analyst

Analyst + domain knowledge. Produces specs in their own field without needing a Domain Expert: listens to the problem, defines it, builds the agent logic, writes the spec and hands it to the engineer.

Who we're looking for: 10+ years in their field; both an expert and an analyst, someone who can both talk a problem through and write it down.

Ultra Domain Analyst

The top level of the Domain Analyst. Produces mockup-level specs, reviews the Agentic Software Architect's work and has depth in more than one field. Leads critical projects and mentors junior Domain Analysts.

Who we're looking for: 15–20+ years of industry seniority, credibility in several fields, big-picture thinking and the ability to give direction.

Agentic Software Architect

The new engineer of the AI era. Delivers with rapid prototyping tools and an AI-agent development setup. Designs systems, directs AI agents, makes architecture decisions and runs several projects in parallel.

Who we're looking for: an engineer who thinks, learns and experiments together with AI, and is already building the future.

CULTURE

What is it like to work here?

A small team, enterprise data and continuous learning.

Small team, broad responsibility

You won't be invisible here. Everyone knows what they produce, takes ownership and has a say in decisions. No convoluted processes, no endless meetings.

Working with enterprise data

Hospitals, retail chains, financial institutions: real customers, serious data. Domain knowledge and enterprise-grade rigor are the foundation of everything.

A culture of fast iteration

A new release every week, sometimes daily iterations. Instead of debating an idea at length, we talk with a prototype, and we also make time to fix mistakes.

AI tools and learning

Every team member uses AI software development tools. When a new tool comes out, we try it, discuss it and share it with the team. Learning is part of the job.

PRODUCTS

What will you work on?

You become part of one or more of our products; no routine work, and never the same job twice.

TRANSFORMATION

This model is not a fresh start; it is a transformation

The greatest strength of our new model is the enterprise data experience we have built up since 2006.

Old and new, side by side

D-CAT Technologies has worked with enterprise data since 2006: 331+ enterprise customers and 1,000+ projects across 9 industries.

Our experienced BI consultants now bring domain depth to the team as Ultra Domain Analysts or Domain Experts, and our Agentic Software Architects turn that depth into products. The team is transforming and everyone is finding their new place. That is why working with us is not just a job; it is a transition.

PROFILE

Who are we looking for?

We don't keep a fixed list of vacancies, but this profile always fits us.

  • Excited about the arrival of the AI era, without getting carried away by the hype
  • 5+ years of depth in your own field: software, domain knowledge or analysis
  • Never stops learning, and sees learning one tool as preparation for the next
  • Writes and speaks clearly, and can turn ambiguity into sharp questions
  • Comfortable in a small team, and even energized by it
  • Able to work productively in both Turkish and English
  • Combines enterprise rigor with startup speed

If you add domain knowledge, software experience or analytical discipline on top of this profile, we have a role for you. If you see yourself in this list, don't hesitate to write; perhaps we will shape the right position for you together.
