Challenge
Many analytics and operational needs could not be met with the enterprise resource planning (ERP) application. Data was spread across different databases, and users had to bring it together by hand.
What we did
- On D-CAT's recommendation, the company chose an SAP BusinessObjects license.
- Needs the ERP could not meet were covered quickly with the flexible architecture of SAP BusinessObjects.
- Data from different databases was combined in a single layer with SAP BusinessObjects.
Result
The process users used to run by hand was automated; user errors were eliminated and results became available much faster.
