D&R, which offers culture and entertainment products in 151 stores across 28 provinces of Türkiye, chose to work with the D-CAT Technologies business intelligence team to build a platform that covers all of its analytics needs.
Challenge
Build a secure, central and flexible platform that covers all of D&R's analytics needs.
What we did
The project started in August 2016 with user workshops to identify D&R's current needs. Based on this analysis, the data structure was modeled and SAP BW on HANA development began. Once the BW work was complete, the analytics interfaces users needed were built with SAP BusinessObjects. The project went live in the first days of January 2017.
Result
- D&R covers all of its analytics needs from one central point.
- Access control defines which data each user can see.
- Audit reports keep a record of existing reports.
- Thanks to the central structure, all data is consistent and comes from a single source.
- With the SAP BusinessObjects scheduling feature, standard reports are sent automatically during the day, removing the follow-up workload from users.
